Light & Easy Salad Dressing

Y’all, I’ve decided recently that I need to get back into eating healthy food. It’s so easy to fall off the wagon, but the more I think about the example I am setting for my husband and will be setting for our future children, it becomes more and more important for me to really make a lifestyle change. As I was prepping for some salad today, I concocted the tastiest, super simple and healthy salad dressing. I’m sure I’ve seen the idea somewhere on Pinterest or Instagram a while back, but I just threw some ingredients together and was so pleased with how delicious it was! It had just the perfect balance of creamy and tangy, which I love! I want to share the recipe with you, as so many of us douse our salads with dressing that really takes away all of the health benefits in the long run. This recipe is fast and easy to use, especially if you store it in a small glass container like I did. I hope you enjoy it!

INGREDIENTS:

-3 Tbsp of Lowfat Plain Yogurt

-Juice of 1 Lemon

-Dash of Garlic Powder

-Salt & Pepper to Taste

DIRECTIONS:

In a small jar, combine the yogurt, lemon juice, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Seal the lid and shake. Store in refrigerator and shake well before using.
